We are looking for professionals with proven expertise in business development domain with experience in areas of digital media sales, advertising sales, digital marketing and account management to drive the next phase of growth at Inc42 Media.
The ideal candidate would be confident and self-motivated to take ownership of the entire sales process from lead generation, prospect need analysis, creating pitches, presentations and proposals to negotiating contracts, coordinating meetings & following up with clients to ensure timely implementation of the contract.
- You should be a creative person who has a solid understanding of digital content and is able to think across platforms and mediums like native content, display-ads, video-branding.
- Must be familiar with display sales models and web based native content sales.
- Must be aware about the advertising ecosystem and should be able to network with various key account holders in digital media & advertising agencies.
- Conceptualizing ideas to marry brand and content.
- You need to know how to build relations and use them to acquire new clients.
- Competition mapping and using industry understanding to develop new strategies to achieve greater scale and improved profitability.
- Drafting Cost Estimates for the proposed advertising services.
- Advising the clients on appropriate advertising plans based on their business needs and financial budget.
- Manage Client Servicing (pre & post sales execution) for all and prospective clients.
- Create presentations and pitches for sales to pitch to key clients.
- Working with the editorial, marketing and branding teams to build customized packages for clients.
- Strategizing and presenting customized content framework for maximum ROI for our clients.
- Should be able to develop ideas and strategies for branded content pieces for Inc42 clients.
- Should be able to pitch these ideas and close the prospective clients when required.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of digital media sales, agency or account management experience needed.
- Solid understanding of the sales cycle in media/digital marketing/events industry.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power-point & Word).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills – this is a deal breaker.

Location: For this role, the candidate maybe based out of New Delhi or Bengaluru. There will be frequent travel between these two cities for internal office meetings. In addition to this, there will be travel Pan-India, for external client meetings.
